It's back from holidays, back to school, back to work, time to refocus and set a new course. And at Scrivens, we're back to regular business hours on Fridays.

I hope your summer was full of fun and relaxation, and you had a chance to step away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and spend extra time with your family and friends.

Over the course of the summer, you may have made some changes around the house that could have an impact on your property insurance. Whether you added a tankless water heater, finished your basement, or finally paid off your mortgage, be sure to let us know so we can ensure your coverage best fits these changes.

Identity theft continues to be a rising concern and knowing how and when you could be attacked is vital to protecting yourself. Karen Spencer offers some great advice for protecting you from identity theft fraud. Insurance companies are even offering identity theft protection in case you are a victim.
